Higher Education Institutions Disability Counseling and Advisory Board for Higher Education Institutions, which was prepared based on Article 15 of the Law No. 5378 dated 01/07/2005 on "Disabled Persons and Amendments to Certain Laws and Decrees with the Force of Law" and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 14/08/2010 and numbered 27672 The unit was established in parallel with Articles 11 and 12 of the Coordination Regulation, and at the same time, the "Directive of the Disabled Student Unit" of our university was prepared and the "Ankara Social Sciences University Disabled Student Unit Directive" was accepted with the decision of the University Senate dated 23/01/2018 and numbered 2018/07. In this context, the Barrier-Free ASBU Unit, which was established in this context, carries out the necessary work inside and outside the university in order to remove the obstacles that may arise in order to ensure that disabled students who continue their education at our university benefit equally from academic, social and cultural environments both on campus and in the building. In order to facilitate access within the campus, the necessary infrastructure works and arrangements related to the physical environment have started to be made by the Department of Construction and Technical Affairs of our university.
